Aakash, India
Weight loss/4.5 months

I lost 20 kgs in 4.5 months. Thank you very much for your kind guidance and support provided from the beginning of my weight loss journey. Your experience and dedication helped me achieve significant results in a short period.

Akila, UK
IBS/Gut Health

I was struggling with IBS for many years. After starting the gut health plan, my IBS symptoms reduced by 70–80% in just 8-9 weeks. What I appreciate most is being educated on how to manage even during a stressful flare-up.

I lost 10kgs in 12 weeks with the weight loss plan. My menstrual health also improved in just 5–6 weeks. No more migraines and acne reduced significantly too.

More Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Do you offer online consultations outside India?

Yes. I work with clients as a wellness coach, ensuring easy access to consultations no matter where you are.

Q2. Are your nutrition plans personalized or template-based?
Every plan is tailored. I consider your lifestyle, cultural food preferences, health history, and lab results. This way, your nutrition plan feels realistic, sustainable, and personal to you.

Q3. How is your approach to gut health different from others?
I don’t just remove foods that trigger symptoms, I also look at root causes like digestion, bile flow, and microbiome balance. My approach blends traditional Indian foods (like fermented recipes and herbs) with functional nutrition science for long-term relief.

Q4. Do you work with women managing PCOS or hormonal issues?
Yes. I design structured nutrition plans that support hormone balance, energy, and weight management. These plans respect Indian diets while aligning with the latest PCOS research.

Q5. Do you also guide parents and athletes?
Yes. I provide child nutrition plans for fussy eaters, growth support, and teenage athletes. For sports, I focus on performance nutrition timing, recovery, and hydration in addition to using natural, evidence-backed strategies.

Q6. Who benefits most from working with a nutritionist instead of relying only on online or AI advice?
People who struggle with consistency, habit formation, or applying advice in real-life situations often benefit most from human coaching. While online tools can provide information, behaviour change usually requires context, accountability, and personalised problem-solving.

Q7. How is Pragmatic Nutrition different from diet plans or apps?
Pragmatic Nutrition does not rely on rigid meal plans or fixed rules. The focus is on building decision-making frameworks and habits that clients can sustain independently, even when routines change.

Q8. Do you work with Indian food preferences?
Yes. All recommendations are adapted to Indian food patterns, cultural preferences, and practical availability. The goal is flexibility, not restriction.

Q9. I already know what I should eat. Can you still help me?
Yes. Many clients know the basics but struggle with follow-through. Coaching focuses on identifying why consistency breaks down and how to build systems that work long term.

Q10. Is this suitable for diabetes and metabolic health concerns?
Yes. Pragmatic Nutrition commonly works with diabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, and related metabolic conditions, where long-term adherence and behaviour change are critical.

Q11. Will I become dependent on ongoing coaching?
No. The aim is to build understanding and skills so clients can make confident food decisions on their own over time.

How I use nutrition research?

I use high-quality, peer-reviewed research to inform my work, never to override clinical judgment or individual context. Evidence helps identify patterns and mechanisms, but real-world outcomes depend on factors such as age, physiology, gut health, lifestyle, medical history, and long-term habits. My role is to critically evaluate nutrition research, apply it within evidence-based frameworks, and translate it into practical, realistic guidance that clients can sustain. When evidence is evolving, limited, or mixed, I clearly communicate uncertainty, set appropriate expectations, and avoid overpromising outcomes.

For international clients:
Consultations are provided in the form of nutrition and lifestyle coaching, focused on education, behaviour change, and evidence-based guidance. Medical nutrition therapy is coordinated with local healthcare providers when required.
